Overcast Forest Clearing in the Netherlands

Overcast Forest Clearing in the Netherlands
This HDRI is a beautiful image of a small overcast forest clearing, surrounded with trees. It shows the serene atmosphere of this natural scene. I made it in the forest in Berg en Dal, a Dutch village. This village is known for its natural beauty and historical monuments.
For the photos, I used my Oneplus Nord 2T, a smartphone with a pretty good camera. This camera has a powerful sensor and lens. To capture the bright and dark areas of the scene, I used 7 exposure brackets. These brackets ranged from -3 to +3 stops.
I took the HDRI in spring, when the trees and flowers were colorful and when the temperature was pleasant. The weather was overcast during the photoshoot, which made the image soft and calm with soft shadows. The sky was cloudy and gray, which made the light diffuse and even.
Software
After taking the photos, I used Hugin, a free software, to stitch them into a 360-degree image.
Hugin is an open source software for creating panoramic images. It can align and blend multiple photos together. Then, I used Affinity Photo v2, a professional software, to adjust the colors and remove noise. Affinity Photo v2 is a photo editing software that can handle 32-bit HDR images. So therefore, I used Affinity Photo v2 to remove the tripod from the image and some stitching errors that occurred during the process.
The result is a stunning HDRI with 12K resolution and high dynamic range. The HDRI has 12000 x 6000 pixels and 32 bits per channel. Besides, it can show both very bright and very dark areas well. So it can represent the scene accurately and realistically.
Moreover, the HDRI is free and CC0, so anyone can use it. CC0 means that it has no copyright or license restrictions. Attribution is optional but nice. You can download it for free from Blenderkit, a platform for Blender assets. Blenderkit is a website that provides free and paid assets for Blender users. It has models, materials, brushes, scenes and HDRIs. Finally, the HDRI can be used for many purposes, such as 3D rendering, VR or AR applications, or artistic projects. It can create realistic and immersive environments for any project that requires natural lighting and reflections.
