Free Tinder Fungus 3D Scan
Free Tinder Fungus 3D Scan
After a good walk in the forest near my home, I found a nice tree stump with 4 Tinder Fungus on them. So I grabbed my phone (Oneplus Nord 2T) and started photographing them so I could use Meshroom to get a nice 3D model out of them later.
As it turns out, this Tinder Fungus is a nice 3D Nature asset for you to use, for free. The model is retopologized (with Quad Remesher for Blender) and has the necessary textures and shader to create a good looking asset.
The low-resolution version of this model, is around 5000 faces. The high detail model (Level 5 in the Multiresolution Modifier) is around 5.35 million faces. You can use the low-resolution model in combination with the displacement texture to still get a highly detailed model.
The Blend file comes without the moss models on the bark (since they’re from Graswald) and without the HDRI (since it’s not CC0 but CC-By). You can download the HDRI for free here. All you need to do is insert it into the World Shader and you’re good to go.
But this Blend file does come with one of my free Tree GOBO’s, so you can see these powerful textures in action.
Free Dust and Hairs Texture Pack
If we wish to make our renders more realistic, we have to create imperfections in our scenes. This is where the Dust and Hairs Texture Pack comes in handy.
Free Silver Birch 3D Scan
I made this high quality Silver Birch model, for free. The model is retopologized and has 8K (baked) textures to create a good looking asset.
Free (Flashlight) Light Cookies
You can use (Flashlight) Light cookies to create interesting light effects in your scene. This can really influence the mood in your scene. So it’s a simple, yet powerful tool.
Free Monstera Deliciosa GOBOs
You can use (Monstera Deliciosa) GOBOs to create interesting shadow effects in your scene. This, without having to model the Monstera Deliciosa to create these shadow effects. So it’s quite resource effective!
